Tehran Zoo

Tochal Slope
This slope is 3,500 m. above sea-level is located in the fifth station of Tochal Tele Cabin. At the end of this station, there are also many restaurants and resting facilities.
Ostad Sanati (13th Aban) Museum
This museum was constructed in the year 1946 and at present, it belongs to the Red Crescent Society. Sanati created approximately about 6,000 paintings and over a thousand number of gypsum, stone and bronze statues of reputed scientific and literal personalities of Iran and even different kinds of people belonging to different cultures and costs. Many of these pieces of arts are exhibited in 13th Aban Museum. This museum is located to the south-west of the Imam Khomeini Square and is a site worth visiting.
Sabz (Shahvand Palace) Museum
This palace was constructed by Reza Khan in 1927 to the north-west of Darband on the hillock of Sa’d Abad. This palace has a mirror pavilion, an entertainment area, a dining room, bedroom and an office room. The facade of this palace is ornamented with green stones. The valuable carpets within are masterpieces of reputed Iranian carpet weavers. Most of the decorative articles of the palace had been brought from Europe in the year 1974-75.
Sa’d Abad Palace Museum
The aggregate of Sa’d Abad is comprised of about 14 palaces located in the northernmost region of Tehran and enjoys an extremely pleasant climate. Situated in an area of 400 hectares, this aggregate is surrounded by about 180 hectares of natural forests, springs, gardens, greenhouse, and avenues covered by trees and flowers. Each of these palaces covered large areas and along with recreational facilities such as pools, lagoons, playgrounds and gardens used to house the immediate family members of the Shah. Tehran International Exhibition Ground

Qar Minaret
This round, cylindrically shaped brick minaret has been constructed on an octagonal base and its stone foundation comprises of sand, grit, limestone, and ash. The foundation is 4.8 m in height, and the birth of the minaret at its base and top are 5.5 m. and 4.7 m. respectively. Martha Peters’ house is one of the old and beautiful houses of Isfahan located in the historical neighborhood of Jolfa in this town. The origin of this house goes back to the Safavid era. As it was built during the reign of Shah Abbas Safavid. Martha Peters’ house which is also known by the name of Jaee’s house (father of Martha Peters) has gained its name from its last owner, i.e. Martha Peters.
